With 2020 in the rear view, it's time we look at the kitchen trends, and more specifically the countertop trends that we started to see at the end of the year and are going to see even more of in 2021.
1. GO BOLD WITH QUARTZ
A big trend we stared to see towards the end of the year was bold Quartz. Dramatic veining and strapping designs add a unique and trendy feel to kitchens that many are starting to look for. If you like this style we have TONS of different colors and designs you need to see.
2. WATERFALL LEGS
Waterfall legs are all the rage right now. The luxurious and uniformed look they can give a kitchen is impressive. If you want to redo your island countertop, consider the addition of waterfall legs. They will improve the look and feel of your space without a doubt!
3. CLEAN LINED CABINETS WITH A HIGH BACKSPLASH
With the minimal kitchen becoming more and more popular, the combination of clean lined cabinets with a high backsplash is really starting to take off. A subtle grey countertop you see above or very loud countertops with pronounced veining are two options that will look really good.
4. GO DARK
Don't be afraid to go dark! A dark colored Granite or Quartz countertop gives your space a warmth that many people are looking for. Whether you have dark colored cabinets you see above or white ones like you see below, dark countertops are a great addition and will be a top trend of 2021.
5. UNIQUE FINISHES
To finish off your new kitchen, you should consider making a statement with you faucet and/or sink. Once again, the 2021 trend of a minimalist design is shown with the simple but stylish faucet. And if you really want to have some fun, a matching sink is one of the cooler trends you'll see in 2021.
